Robert Burns
Partner
As the president of our parent company, Canpro Pacific Services Inc., Robert brings over 20 years of real world experience in human safety and personal security. He is responsible for coordinating much of the company's activities, and corporate direction. Robert's experience includes threat assessment and threat management, security consulting, and is operationally involved with increasing human safety through preventive, pro-active and insightful solutions. Robert is a frequent speaker and lecturer on these topics. As a trainer and educator, Mr. Burns has provided services locally, nationally, and internationally, including in the USA, Mexico, and Africa.
Robert has supplied instruction for Federal Government investigators, the Justice Institute of BC (Police Academy), local municipalities, BC Ambulance Service, BC Ministry of Health, and BC Hospitals. His consulting clients include the BC Attorney Generals Office, BC Solicitor General's Office, BC Crown Counsel and Courts, BC Corrections Branch, the federal Department of Justice, national media, and numerous national and multi-national corporations.
Robert previously sat on the Education and Training Committee of the Private Investigators Association of BC, and assisted in the development of courses and delivery. He holds a Diploma in Criminal Justice, Citation in Public and Private Safety, and has completed numerous intensive training and educational courses relating to security applications. A long time combatives and martial arts practitioner, Robert has trained in numerous styles and weapons systems, and is a certified instructor. As a part of his work, Robert received a Top Secret Security Clearance from the government of Canada.
