Vietnamese Ministry of Justice officials hosted by Canpro Training Resources

As part of their ongoing commitment to strengthening child protection resources within Viet Nam, a delegation of seven senior justice officials visited British Columbia on a week long study tour to examine Canadian approaches to youth justice.
Organized by Canpro Training Resources and the University College of the Fraser Valley, the Vietnamese officials met with criminologists and child protection faculty at the University College of the Fraser Valley, toured the RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre, attended a presentation conducted by the RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Team and the RCMP Integrated Border Enforcement Team (Human Trafficking), met with community crime prevention groups such as the BC Crime Prevention Association and the Collingwood Community Police Station, heard from specialized investigative groups within the Vancouver Police Department, met with provincial Crown Counsel and toured Family Court, met with Ministry of Children and Family officials, and met with the executive of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy (a UN affiliate agency).
