Respect in the Workplace: A new professional development workshop

In close consultation with a significant British Columbia government agency, Canpro has developed an exciting new professional development workshop designed to promote respectful communications and relationships in the workplace.
The purpose of this highly interactive workshop is to raise awareness of minimum standards for workplace respect and courteous interactions amongst colleagues. The goal is to provide staff with specific knowledge and competencies they can use to enhance their interactions with each other, to heighten morale and to reinforce a culture of collegiality and respect.
This new learning event includes an examination of the four generations in the workplace, their individual styles, needs and issues, and the complexities and value each generation brings to the larger group and employer.
Respect in the Workplace has been piloted twice now, and is scheduled to be delivered fifteen times this year across the province.
